Since 2001 Sonia has worked as a qualified GP and during that time, developed a deep interest in holistic medicine and the impact a healthy lifestyle can have for the prevention and treatment of chronic disease.
Her fascination with good nutrition, quality sleep, exercise and other beneficial lifestyle factors led her to take a Diploma and certify with the British Society of Lifestyle Medicine. To further strengthen her credentials and expertise, she also attained certification from Cornell University’s Nutrition and Healthy Living Course, the Dr. T Colin Campbell Centre for Nutrition Studies Plant Based Nutrition Course and the University of Winchester’s Plant Based Nutrition Course.
Her ambition is to empower people to take small steps and join the dots between a healthy lifestyle and improved mental wellbeing, along with the positive impact these have on health conditions and even chronic disease.
She is motivated by helping others to help themselves achieve sustainable improvements to their health through guided lifestyle choices.
Finally, she firmly believes that by adopting the principles of Lifestyle Medicine, companies and organisations will ultimately see a positive impact on employee motivation and production.
